Our story

Our kids have been doing athletics sports for a while now and have accumulated medals and trophies over the years that are scattered around their rooms, hanging on closet door knobs and sitting between books on shelves. 

Searching online, my wife and I were not able to find anything available on the market that appealed to us. One night I started thinking that there must be a better way to display these important awards so that the kids can see them every time they enter their rooms. I started drawing up an idea that came to my mind that I then build from solid walnut hardwood floor planks that I had left in my storage.

Since our kids have been very successful and are still young, we knew that what ever we needed, had to be able to nicely display but also have the capacity to storage the medals so that the display can be used for many years to come. Showing the finished piece to our kids, friends and family and seeing their excitement, convinced me that this could be a product that many athletes can have use for. By using our kids first initials the name was created and LOMEFA WAS BORN.
